Ok, your own fingers

As long as you're here:

...start with "Mole Hunt."

All the good ones are taken

...blog names, that is, along with reasons to start one and things to put in it.

Perfect!

I resisted myspace until late 2006... at which point, despite a million billion subscribers, it became irrelevant nearly overnight. Irrelevant not as in, that's when the cool kids left -- the cool kids were long gone by then. Irrelevant as in, even the not-cool kids figured it out, and then no one talked about it anymore.

I'm proud to have been part of that Webwide Walk of Shame.

This morning, I got to thinking... There are creative, talented people out there whose ideas, images, projects, and words make the internet a better place. This is not that. It's why, with nothing to contribute and rudimentary writing skills at best, I'm pretty sure I can do for blogger what I did for myspace.

So, if you're baffled by what people choose to share and how poorly they punctuate it; if you've ever lied to a blogging relative that you can't wait to read about his battle with crabgrass; and if it doesn't bother you in the least that this may be my last post as well as my first... no need to thank me. Just doing my job.

P.S. for the eight of you who still have active myspace accounts: Don't bother looking, it's gone. And also, perhaps you'd like to start a blog?
